Abstract

The present article is proposed to analyze, without meaning to deplete the subject, the various aspects of what may be called freedom, for, in a parallel analysis with daily subjects, demonstrate that unrestricted liberty is, possibly, as harmful as its lackness. The first part is dedicated to analyze the legitimacy of an interference by the State in the informations that are aired in independent and traditional media, as the historical material context of the origins of freedom of speech. The second part is about the various aspects of freedom. In its third part, the myth of liberty as synonym of beneficent to the individual and/or collectivity. Lastly, it concludes for the necessity of state regulation of the virtual ambients.
