Abstract

The main objective of this article is to analyze the Special Testimony as a practice of inquiry of children suspected of sexual abuse, taking into account the criticism that this method has been receiving, proposing a possible reflection on the guarantee of the integral protection of the child, safeguarded both in the Constitution of the Federative Republic of Brazil and in the Statute of the Child and Adolescent.
